Requirements for Theme

Make sure that you’re running the latest version of WordPress, PHP version 7.4 or higher and MySQL version 5.6 or higher.

Recommended PHP configuration limits

One of the issues you may run into is importing demo data fails. The first solution is to increase PHP limits. You can do this by yourself or contact your server provider to ask for the help to increase following PHP limits in php.ini

max_execution_time 300
memory_limit 512M
post_max_size 100M
upload_max_filesize 64M
upload_max_size = 64M
max_input_time = 1000

Theme Installation Through Dashboard

Log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
Go to WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Themes.
Click on Add New Theme.
Click on Upload Theme button.
Click on Choose File button and select theme bsal-fse.zip then click on Install Now button and wait for the install to complete.
After the theme installed successfully, click on Activate button.

Manual Theme Installation using FTP

Unzip bsal-fse.zip to your Desktop.
Use an FTP client to access your host web server. Go to /wp-content/themes/
Upload theme to /wp-content/themes/.
Go to WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Themes and activate theme from Dashboard.

How to edit Home Page?

How to use patterns in Page?

To add patterns to the page, you first need to click on the "Plus" icon. When clicking on the icon, there is an open popup box, and in the popup box, click on the "Browse All" button. And when clicking on the "Browse All" button, there is an open panel on the top left side with the option Patterns and Blocks. Now here you are clicking on "Patterns" and selecting "Basal FSE" from the dropdown. So to insert patterns, simply click on the pattern name. When you click on the pattern name, it's inserted in the editor. Now simply select elements and edit them. You can insert any pattern and modify it as per your requirements.

Header and Footer Templates

To edit Header or Footer First select navigation list as seen in below screenshot. So for manage Header simply click on Header and Manage it. And same for manage Footer. Another way you can also Edit Header and Footer sepereately from Patterns pannel Template Parts.
